The Insurance Charities Awareness Week will take place between 17 and 21 June this year.

The aim is to let the industry know about the Charity, and the support available in times of need. People are often surprised that the Insurance Charities don’t just help those working in insurance, but also dependent relatives. They know that when misfortune strikes, whatever it is, it can affect the whole family.

If your organisation has signed up, you’ll hopefully spot boxes of free giveaways in your office during the week.

If you haven’t ordered any materials yet you can do so by emailing the charity with your contact details.

This year the Charity has partnered with Harry Specter’s Chocolates - an initiative dedicated to crafting chocolates to create employment for young people with autism.

You can follow the week on Twitter using #ICAW and run activities to coincide with the week such as a bake sale, dress-down day or team quiz.
