Salary: Up to £50k p.a. depending on experience

About the Role
Following an internal promotion, we are now seeking a Claims Specialist to join our Large Loss team at our Head Office in Stratford upon Avon. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop your property claims knowledge and manage our most valuable and complex property claims (above £500k).
You will provide technical advice and guidance to improve our claims handling capability, control and consistency, ensuring fair outcomes and excellent service to our members.
Additionally, you will control and coordinate NFU Mutual’s response to major claims events and will represent and promote NFU Mutual’s position in the external market.
Please note, whilst there will be occasional field visits, this role will be office-based.
You will be an experienced property claims professional and will be used to managing a variety of property claims. Around two thirds of this role will be focused on commercial claims and so it is essential that you have this experience. Personal lines experience is also preferable.
The role will be working as part of a small technical team reporting directly into our Property Claims Manager, and so it is important that you have good judgement and decision making skills as well as having the ability to be self-sufficient with day to day work activity.
