Helena is Head of Specialist Services at Criterion Adjusters, who specialise in High Net Worth, Fine Art & Specie and residential Real Estate claims. An Associate of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters, Helena sits on the CILA Council as chair of our High Net Worth and Specie group, and is also an active member of our Women in CILA group, which champions the progression of CILA qualifications among women.
Helena’s career in loss adjusting began in 1991 at Brocklehursts in Brighton, which was later acquired by Crawford. Several years later, after a career break to raise a family, Helena went on to qualify in 2014, before moving into the High Net Worth and Major Loss arena, where she began to take on more senior operational and management roles whilst always running her own bespoke portfolio of claims.
Helena has developed a particular expertise in High Net Worth Real Estate and established a reputation for her delicate handling of cases, particularly those involving vulnerable customers, VIPs, or claims with particularly complex issues. As Deputy President of the Institute, Helena hopes to promote the values of professional integrity, customer service, and diversity and inclusion.
