Introduction to the Goods in Transit SIG from the Chairman:

As current chairman of the Goods In Transit Specialist Interest Group I welcome you to the Goods in Transit / Marine SIG section of the new CILA website.

I hope the site will become the recognised medium for this sector of the market both engaging and above all energising a wide range of not just member adjusters but also other insurance professionals who will find its content both educational and enlightening.

We actively encourage everyone interested to play a role in contributing to and liaising with other members and professionals in making the site a truly universal and relevant technical arena.

We are currently putting together what will be our initial steering committee as well as organising future events and forums that members could attend... please watch this space!
