Introduction to the High Net Worth and Specie SIG from the Chairman:

Welcome to the High Net Worth and Specie Specialist Interest Group. It is extremely encouraging to see so many members register for this group and for that representation to spread throughout the length and breadth of the UK and Overseas. Our aim is to develop a valuable resource of technical and other information that will benefit members in their day to day activities and to demonstrate the exceptionally high calibre of our members to the wider insurance market. We also plan to hold regional events on technical subjects to which it will be possible to invite guests.

Articles that members have published can be posted on the website and by way of recognition the member’s name and employer details will be shown. Also, if members know of other valuable material or articles published elsewhere, which would be suitable for inclusion, please let me have details and these will all be followed up to obtain the necessary permission.

Our sector of the market is very wide and we hope to work closely with other associations and organisations with whom members have regular contact. We shall also be actively looking for sponsorship of our section of the website.

I believe that High Net Worth and Specie is likely to become one of the most influential Specialist Interest Groups and, with the active participation of as many members as possible, we are sure to succeed.
