Earlier this year the BI SIG conducted a survey on the extent and causes of BI under insurance.
The survey has now been completed, with 286 respondents, and we have posted the summary slides from the launch presentation below. We plan to write up a more complete summary of the survey in due course.

Of specific interest is the discussion about depreciation savings dealt with at paragraphs 251 to 261. This judgment concludes that depreciation savings should be deducted from a settlement.
