The paper begins with a brief and general introduction to the topic of product liability. We then analyse local Chinese product liability law, including The Tort Law (TLL), The Insurance Law (IL) and The Contract Law (CL) of the People's Republic of China.

We follow that with an overview of the PRC court system and court filing procedures.

Finally, we put forward a précis of some of the cases we have handled in China.
