3rd Meeting of the Steering Group

A third meeting of the Steering Group has now taken place and further substantial progress has been made.

I am pleased to report that we will shortly be agreeing the draft constitution with the CILA Executive and, once formulated, this will form the basis for our first AGM which we anticipate may be held in mid-November in the Midlands. Further information on this will follow. Prior to that it will be necessary to seek candidates to be considered as committee members. We have already had a limited number of individuals who have signified interest in being committee members, but other nominations would be very welcome.

We have already put a modest budget proposal to the CILA for our first 12 months, although it is hoped that all events will be self-funding.

Finally, in my last email I did ask if any members could provide articles or similar material which could be posted on the High Net Worth SIG section of the website. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive any such material but would welcome hearing from members.
