HIgh Net Worth SIG Update

Dear CILA Member

I am pleased to advise that a further meeting of the steering group took place on 6th July 2006, and progress has been made in a number of areas. It is hoped a further meeting will take place within the next 4 weeks when we should then have more substantial news and, hopefully, a provisional date for our AGM when the formal committee can be established. At the same time we hope to run a CPD event.

The CILA website is being revamped at present and there will be a section for each SIG. One of the pages will be for articles specifically relevant to that SIG. I am therefore anxious to try and start collecting suitable articles, either written by members or others. If we can get this together it will become a very valuable resource. Please do see what you can find and send me all/anything, preferably by email if possible. Also, if you have seen or see potentially suitable articles in other publications could you please let me have details so I can see if we can obtain permission to have these on the CILA website. I cannot stress how important this particular area of the website is likely to be for all our members.

At our AGM we shall be looking to elect committee members who will be asked to serve a period of 2 years. If you are interested in being a committee member I should be grateful if you would kindly let me know by mid-September. As mentioned in my last email we are very anxious to have committee members from across the UK and not just from London and the Home Counties.
