Insurance Claims Handler

Core Claims Management is seeking an Insurance Claims Handler to join this firm of Loss Adjusters and Specialist Claims Handlers in Oxted, Surrey, to deal with desk top liability claims.

Core Claims Management is an independently owned Chartered Loss Adjuster and Specialist Claims Handler. Their core activity is dealing with Liability claims; including Employer and Public Liability. They also work on a number of specialist schemes including working with the Sports, Leisure and Restaurant sectors.

Title: Insurance Claims Handler
Location: Oxted, Surrey
Salary: £22k - £25k per annum
Benefits: Pensions, Critical Illness Cover

The Insurance Claims Handler role will include the following roles and responsibilities:

- Liaising with insured parties and taking full details of motor insurance claims
- Working with the Loss Adjuster or Insurer to ensure the claim is genuine
- Liaising with Brokers and Underwriters
- Ensuring a fair settlement for the client in the event of a claim
- Advising clients on insurance issues in general

The ideal Insurance Claims Handler will possess the following skills and attributes:

- Dealing with desk top liability claims from cradle to grave
- Handling relevant documentation
- Experience of handling motor insurance claims
- The ability to handle a high volume of emails and calls
- Excellent IT skills

As an Insurance Claims Handler, you will be joining a market leader in several “niche area” sectors. They are expanding steadily, with further plans to increase and grow over the coming year.

- A high level of communication skills, both written and verbal
- A professional manner when communicating with both clients and senior colleagues
