Kevin Wood ACII FCILA

Kevin Wood began his Loss Adjusting career in 1979 as a graduate recruit to the Cunningham Hart & Co, where he trained, qualified and fulfilled a variety of roles, eventually becoming Associate Director.

In 1993, Kevin joined Ashworth Mairs Group (AMG) where he worked on the Main Board. Following an institutionally driven MBO of AMG, Kevin was appointed Managing Director. After two acquisitions, restructuring and rebranding of the business to Merlin, Kevin continued to serve as Director and Chief Technical Officer.

Kevin was elected Fellow of the Institute in 1989 and is the current CILA President. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Director. He believes passionately in the Profession and the value that Adjusters can add to the management of claims.

Kevin is married to Audrey, also a Chartered Loss Adjuster, and by his first marriage has two daughters aged 25 and 23 years. In his spare time he enjoys mainly outdoor activities including running - mainly off road, walking, swimming and sailing.
