Harry Roberts BSc (Hons) FCA FCILA MAE

Harry Roberts is Director Technical, RIsk & Compliance at Cunningham Lindsey. He has over 25 years experience of dealing with major insurance claims, predominantly business interruption and financial related losses, having previously qualified as a Chartered Accountant, and was a founder member of our Specialist Adjusting Unit in 1998. As a Chartered Accountant he initially specialised in stock, business interruption, fidelity guarantee and professional indemnity claims. Harry has extensive experience in multi-million pound losses across a wide range of businesses including retail, printing, manufacturing and chemicals.

Harry was CILA President in 2006-2007 and was instrumental in the launch of a range of Specialist Interest Groups. Two of these, Liability and Business Interruption, have been at the forefront of the Market issues raised by Buncefield. He is currently the Council Representative for the Business Interruption SIG and also Chairman of the CILA Synergy Committee, and has been at the forefront of CILA’s response to regulation. The same Committee is actively involved in the planning of the insurance industry response to the terrorist threat of a CBRN attack. Harry has both lectured and published articles on the Business Interruption issues posed by disaster scenarios.

Outside of loss adjusting, Harry enjoys golf, cooking and travel.
