Roger Topping LLB (Hons) ACII FCILA
Roger is the founder and Managing Director of TopMark Adjusters Ltd, the Representative on Council of the Smaller Independent Practices SIG and Chief Executive of the Independent Loss Adjusters Association. TopMark Adjusters is a multi-disciplined independent practice based in Glasgow that has developed a base of loyal insurers, brokers and private businesses that require specialist insurance claims advice for themselves and their clients.
Roger is a law graduate (University of Liverpool) and a qualified Barrister (Middle Temple). He specialises in leading his company’s response to property damage and business interruption losses following major incidents.
Roger has been a member of CILA for 30 years having achieved Fellowship in 1990. He was the representative on CILA Council from Scotland between 2002 and 2006 and since then has been the Smaller Independent Practices SIG representative. He has sat on the Media Committee and currently sits on the Examination committee and the Membership committee.
Hobbies include golf and long distance running – to keep fit. He enjoys walking and skiing in the mountains of France/Spain and performs on the stage in musicals, where he demonstrates the skills he first learnt when he trained as an opera singer at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
