CILA and ABI Contacts for Emergency Protocol
In September 2007 the Association of British Insurers (ABI), the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (CILA) and the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) launched a protocol for involving the insurance industry in responding to emergencies. The protocol, together with further guidance on the insurance industry’s role in response to emergencies can be found on the UK Resilience website.
In case of emergency, local Gold or Silver commands can use the following list of contacts. Insurance industry representatives are willing to attend meetings where necessary:
