The latest issue of Ombudsman News is now available to download from the FOS website.
Of interest in this issue are case studies of insurance disputes concerning storm and weather damage. The Ombudsman notes that complaints frequently centre on:
- what actually constitutes a ‘storm’;
- whether the damage was caused by a storm; and
- whether damage that occurred during a storm was predominately caused
by the storm.
