The Fire Protection Association

The Fire Protection Association’s Technical Director, Dr James Glockling recently met with the CILA‘s Executive Director Malcolm Hyde to discuss areas of mutual interest and benefit.

The meeting was very interesting and proved that there is a considerable amount of mutual interest in key areas. Key areas of interest for CILA members include:

• The technical resources available on the RISCAuthority web site such as the FPA Design Guide
• The ROBUST (Resilient Business Software Toolkit) designed to produce Business Continuity Plans (https://robust.riscauthority.co.uk/)
• The opportunity for CILA to contribute to the continued development of the Fire Loss Web input – and to benefit from the data output in due course.
