A Route to Qualification is available which details the CILA qualification routes.
The Institute’s examinations are held twice a year, in April and October. Below are details of the 2011 examination programme.
April 2012 ACILA Exams
The dates for the April 2012 ACILA exams are:
C1 and C2 - Monday 2 April 2012
C1 9.30am - 1.00pm
C2 2.00pm - 5.30pm
C3 - Tuesday 3 April 2012
C3 9.30am - 1.00pm

Marking Scheme
A marking scheme for the ACILA examinations is available to download. Please note that this scheme is for guidance only and is intended to give an indication of the level of performance required to obtain each grade.
Accreditation for Chartered Status
The Accreditation for Chartered Status (ACS) is the method by which the CILA ensures that those who have the appropriate level of competence to carry out the work as a professionally qualified loss adjuster on behalf of clients or an employer are admitted as Associates of the Institute.
