Benevolent fund

The Benevolent Fund was originally formed to assist members of the Institute or their dependents in the event of sickness or misfortune.

In recent times, the Trustees also look at other circumstances that cause our members difficulty. For instance, where sources of income are curtailed through redundancy or incapacitation. Also where a member or his surviving partner may need to continue education for their children or if a piece of equipment is essential to maintain a standard of living.

The trustees are always open to requests from members or their dependents. Therefore, if you have any such problems, please contact the Secretariat at:
