Following the CILA annual general meeting (AGM) on 14th September, the Institute is delighted to welcome two new members to the new CILA Council, Neil Curling and Michelle Haynes.
Neil was elected as the Subsidence SIG representative and Michelle was elected as an Independent representative. Neil’s appointment follows the standing down of John Parvin who held the position of Subsidence SIG representative for many years. Our thanks to John for all his efforts in relation to the Subsidence SIG and his contributions to the CILA subsidence exams.
Robert Pitt also stood down as the Smaller Independent Practices SIG representative. Simon Burley kindly stood for this position and will take up this role on Council going forward. Again, our thanks to Robert Pitt for his time and participation on the CILA Council.
Jonathan Clark was elected as the CILA President for the 2016-2017 year, with John Eves appointed as his Deputy.
Our thanks and best wishes to the members of the CILA Council for the upcoming year.
