The CILA President, Benedict Burke, was invited to be a panellist at a public meeting in Carlisle where the lives of hundreds of people have been impacted by flooding.

The meeting was organised by Dr Stephen Gibbs whose home was flooded by Storm Desmond.Other panellists taking questions from the audience included the Environment Agency, MP John Stevenson, Cumbria County Council, Carlisle City Council and MEP Julie Ward.
