Event Summary

This afternoon session delivered by the CILA High Net Worth & Specie Special Interest Group (SIG) will cover: 

  • The basics of how diamonds form and what makes them rare
  • The 4 C's and what terminology diamond grading labs use
  • An introduction to the world of synthetic diamonds, simulants and treatments
  • The physical properties of a diamond, how they can become damaged, and the key factors that can affect a claim involving high end jewellery

Registration is at 3.00pm, with the seminar to start at 3.30pm. Tea and coffee will be served during registration. The seminar will finish at 5.00pm.
